DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE
Abilis is discontinuing the Si Tuner AT803C21QD-1C/2C, previously Freescale
MC44S803EP-R2 part number.

DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE DETAILS

The decision to discontinue manufacturing these products is part of the Abilis’s overall
portfolio management renewal process. Abilis continues to be an active player in RF-
DTV receivers following the recently announcement of the ATON™ AT810 low power,
low system cost and high performance silicon based tuner for consumer products e.g.
Set Top Box, PC TV, Portable TV, DVD Players, Automotive Media applications.
Abilis continues to make substantial investments in both new technologies and improved
manufacturing processes in order to provide our customers with the highest quality and
most reliable semiconductors in the industry.

ANTICIPATED IMPACT OF PRODUCT CHANGE (FORM, FIT, FUNCTION OR

RELIABILITY)
Customers should be advised that until the Last Buy Date, all orders on backlog with
corresponding PO placed prior to Dec 31, 2010, are subject to the applicable
cancellation terms and conditions specified in Abilis’s General Sales Conditions. After
the Last Buy Date and for orders with corresponding PO placed after Dec 31, 2010,
orders on backlog are non-cancelable and non-changeable.
If capacity limits are identified, orders will be supported on a first come first serve basis.

This Product Discontinuance will serve as final notice for customer purchase. Products
requiring failure analysis, additional testing or other service after the last ship date are
subject to the availability of equipment, materials, or other hardware/software used in
processing.

In the event that replacement units may be needed beyond the published last shipment
date, products will be provided if available in the form of excess inventory.
Important Note: Abilis reserves the right to dispose of all remaining products after the
last ship date.
