N EC’s PASOLINK series (PASOLINK, PASOLINK+) of short-haul access digital microwave relay
systems is significantly strengthened with the introduction of PASOLINK Mx, incorporates a host of
advanced features.
Traffic capacity—formerly 2 × 2 Mbps to 16 × 2 Mbps—has been increased to 20/32/40 × 2 Mbps
through the highly spectrum-efficient QAM modulation technique. The Transversal Equalizer and
Forward Error Correction features greatly improve link performance. PASOLINK Mx offers an enhanced
LAN interface, affording you expanded freedom in network design and increased potential for new
applications. Moreover, all of these upgrades are concentrated in a downsized IDU (Indoor modulator/
demodulator Unit).
Continuing in the great PASOLINK tradition, PASOLINK Mx is designed for simple installation and
fast rollout, while featuring NEC’s renowned reliability, high-speed transmission capability, a high
degree of scalability and cost-effective operation.
To further augment your network’s efficiency, flexibility and overall performance, look no further than
PASOLINK systems from NEC. The only real choice.
