Reflection Questions
1. Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you
applied what you learned?

Ans: Considering the development opportunities available to me this year, I have

worked very hard in all my classes. I have learned a lot of stuff especially in computer class
which is one of the main classes for me because without it, I am not what I am today. I am
also learning Spanish which will be my 5th language if I start talking fluently.

2. What strengths do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?

Ans: The strengths I possess is I am very hardworking and talented in all my classes so
that might help me next year. I learned a lot of things this year than I knew in 9th grade
because I didn’t really have that much home work than I had this year in 10th grade and I am
pretty sure that I will learn more and more until I graduate from this school.

3. What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals for this year?

Ans. The obstacles I must work through is passing the TAKS test, all my classes, get
good grades and passing the EOC Exams because if I fail them then I have to go to summer
school and retake it again and If I don’t pass it in summer school again then I will probably
repeat 10th grade which I don’t want to because so far I am doing really good in ll my classes
and I have worked really hard.

4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving
further academic and work related goals?

Ans. I have learned a lot of stuff in this class. We worked on Ms. Word, Ms Excel, Ms.
Access, Ms. Power point. All of these software programs will help me in making
presentations, portfolios, graphs, accountings and much more in future. We also did some
TAKS math practice before the TAKS test and even that helped me on the test.
 5. If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why? Any
regrets?

Ans. If I could do any assignment over this year, it would be retaking Math Model
class again because I still need help on word problems because I am very weak, I just can’t
understand the problem no matter what and even if a smart person tries to teach me I just
wouldn’t get it. I would not regret it because it is not my fault and I tried really hard to
understand but didn’t get anything.

6. What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?

Ans. Fun, informative and interesting.

7. How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course over the year?

Ans. My computer skills improved a lot this year because I didn’t know how to make a
resume which is one of the most important thing when you go for an interview. Another
thing improved was my typing. I have started typing fast. Also I learned how to calculate our
G.P.A. I think taking this class was more useful than taking any other class because I know a
lot about computers now than I knew in my past.

8. What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?

Ans. My greatest challenges were when I had to do tons of projects and most of them
were due on the same day. Then we had so many tests and quizzes which I had to study for. I
couldn’t sleep well because I had too much goin on in school. And then came the TAKS test
which I got too stressed out because unfortunately I had failed the TAKS test in 8th and 9th grade.
So those were the greatest challenges I ever had in my life.
