Instruction: This candidate booklet is used for students in Danang City
Region only.

Candidates must read the Candidate Booklet including the


instruction of selection rounds and the job description of every
functional team carefully.

Package. Fulfill the information and questions in Membership Questions
section in application form and submit to
aiesec.danang@gmail.com before 11.59pm, 15th May 2011.

Group Discussion: After the application screening process, if you are


selected, congratulations!! you will be required to come for the group
discussion on 21st-22nd May, 2011

Interview: The selected candidates from Group Discussion will be


required to conduct the personal interview at the allotted time during
28th – 29th May, 2011. This is the last step in the selection process. After
that candidates will be selected to AIESEC and informed by email/phone.

Student Review Board: Candidates who pass Application Round will


advance to the Student Review Board (SRB). Your time for SRB will be
informed through email.

Final result will be announced from 3 to 4 days after closing round.

Package. Fulfill the information and questions in both Membership
Questions and Exchange Participant Questions sections in application
form and submit to aiesec.danang@gmail.com before 11.59pm, 15th May
2011.

Group Discussion: After the application screening process, if you are


selected, congratulations!! you will be required to come for the group
discussion on 21st-22nd May, 2011

Interview & Student Review Board: The selected candidates from Group
Discussion will be required to conduct the personal interview at the
allotted time during 28th – 29th May, 2011. This is the last step in the
selection process for membership. Besides, at the same time, you will go
through Student Review Board to check your ability to go for internship.

Final result of Exchange Participant and AIESEC Member will be
announced

from 3 to 4 days after the last round.

II. HOW TO APPLY

Please choose one of three categories above to apply for. Then fill in the
application form.
If you choose category 1: AIESEC Member, please answer the part:
Membership Questions.
If you choose category 2: Exchange Participant, please answer the part:
Exchange Participant Questions.
If you choose category 3: AIESEC Member and Exchange Participant,
please answer both: Membership Questions and Exchange Participant
Questions.

Besides, candidates have to send a photo together with application form.

Candidates must name your application form and photo as

III. FUNCTION INTRODUCTIO N
This session supports candidates in AIESEC activity understanding and making a
right choice for their future work in AIESEC. The functions listed below are
currently core functions in AIESEC. More activities and functions can be opened in
future based on demand.
1. Outgoing Exchange (OGX)
This team is responsible for recruiting and managing Vietnamese students to
send them to overseas for doing internship.

 Promoting exchange opportunities on campus
 Organizing interview and selection process and taking part in the Selection
Review Board.
 Helping and providing selected students with matching training
 Organizing training events for students to prepare for their internships
 Ensure that EPs (Exchange Participant) are integrated into the AIESEC abroad
before and after returning from their internships.

3. Benefits
 Experience in marketing, event organizing through planning, running
promotion campaign and organizing events for internship program branding

 Experience in working with AIESECers in region and country through national
or regional campaign
 Experience in leadership through leading a team of 5 - 10 people to run 3
month campaign
 Make direct impact on people by recruiting them for internship program for
life-changing experience

2. External Relations (ER)
This team is responsible for establishing, managing and capitalizing on the
connections of AIESEC with organizations and individuals, who are capable and
willing to support AIESEC on sponsor, learning activities, external
opportunities….

 Doing market research to look for potential partners
 Contacting companies to build relationship
 Setting meetings with companies’ heads and following up for partnership
realization
 Developing products, creating proposal to get support from partner.
 Positioning AIESEC in market
 Taking part in Networking events to build up and broaden AIESEC network.

This team is responsible for managing and developing human resource of
organization.

 Running selection processes and activities in recruitment.
 Organizing learning activities to support member on their learning and
development.
 Guiding member to do set and fulfill their goals in personal and professional
perspectives.
 Tracking performance to assess member’s development.

 Preparing for people before leaving AIESEC.
