Red Balls Pizza

Redballs Rock & Roll Pizza in Woodland Hills
is the love child born between David Vieira
and Elliot Easton, guitarist for the rock
group the Cars. The two New Yorkers used
to bemoan the death of good pizza in their
part of the Valley.
The crust is flavorful, yeasty and fragrant, blistered
on the bottom with a bit of char and just-crisp
edges. The tomato sauce is light, loose and
garlicky, the cheeses are good quality and laid on
with a light hand so the nearly-naked Manhattan
pie is a delicate fusion of layers, not gooey.

Bruce in the USA
(A Tribute to BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN)
Concert starts at 6:00 PM
A high-energy musical experience and a note perfect, visually accurate
recreation of a Bruce Springsteen & The E. St. Band show. Matt Ryan, from the
world famous Legends In Concert, played Springsteen for eight years in the “full
scale” Las Vegas show. His great success with Legends evolved naturally into
Bruce In The USA. His amazing portrayal of “The Boss” (not to mention
his jaw-dropping resemblance) makes you feel like you’re experiencing the
real thing in concert. Backed by the sounds of Clarence “The Big Man”
Clemence and a smokin’ handed “Little Stevie,” Bruce In The USA takes
this genre of performance art to a whole new level, making it the world’s #1
tribute to the E St. Band’s legacy.

(A Tribute to FOREIGNER)
Concert starts at 6:00 PM
Head Games - A Foreigner Tribute are five guys from the
New York City area who share a common love for hard rocking music.
They bring together all the same elements that made Foreigner so
hugely successful. Only musicians who can play rock, jazz, pop,
progressive, as well as classical music can attempt to tribute such a
band whose music covers all those styles. With Mike Ledesma on lead
vocals, Mike Dagostino on drums, Joe Scarangella on bass, Sean Tarr on
guitar, and Rich Forman on keyboards, their tribute to the legendary
rock band can only be experienced in their power packed live shows.

“Woodland Hillstock”
featuring CANNED
HEAT
and COUNTRY JOE MCDONALD
Concert starts at 4:00 PM
Costume Contest at 6:00 PM
Free Kid’s Crafts

Canned Heat rose to fame when Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson and
Bob “The Bear” Hite got together in the 1960s to make a new sound. Drawing
on their knowledge of the Blues, Canned Heat specialized in updating obscure
old recordings into hip modern tunes. Their Top-40 Country-Blues-Rock hit, “On
The Road Again,” became a Rock anthem around the world. Their hit “Going Up
The Country,” was adopted as the unofficial theme song for the famed docu-
mentary, Woodstock.

Country Joe McDonald’s album, Country Joe and the Fish, was released in
1965, just in time for the anti-war Vietnam Day Teach-In in Berkeley, CA. He sang
one of the great anthems of the era, “I-Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-to-Die-Rag” to a half-
million people at the Woodstock Arts and Music Festival in 1969. After forty-
eight albums and more than four decades as a folksinger, Country Joe McDonald
is still one of the best known names from the 1960s.
Also appearing:
Opening for “Hillstock” is TomWallbank and the Abassadors,
known for his fearless performance style on harmonic, slide guitar and
vocals. He has opened for the likes of Charlie Musselwhite, T-Model
Ford, Tommy Castro, Catfish Keith, Rod and Honey Piazza and
Cephas and Wiggins. Also appearing is blues guitarist and vocalist
Dennis Jones. His third release, Pleasure & Pain on Blue Rock
Records, has the explosive guitar power, voice and songs that makes
the break out sound all audiences adore. The Shoemaker Brothers
hail from the Pacific Northwest, the progeny of Celtic and Nordic
roots, they sing like angels and play rock music with a classical
in the 1960s musician’s touch. TH I S C O N C ER T SP O N S O R ED BY
