SUBJECT GENERAL SPECIFICATION

I. TEMPORARY FACILITIES

Temporary enclosure must be provided prior to layout.

All materials to be used shall conform with the
requirement of the village association.

II. EARTHWORK

All existing structure/tree must be removed prior to layout,

Excavation should be undertaken as per approved design
and depth and should be for final approval of the Engineer
in charge.
Backfilling should be done in such a way it would leave
Soil should be compacted up to the maximum allowable
percentage prior to concreting.
All trench should have a gravel bedding ( G-1 ) prior to
concreting
All soil surfaces should be treated with Chloride prior
to concreting.

III. STRUCTURAL

All works should be done as indicated on plan and must in accordance

with the following specification.

A. Concreting

Foundation, column roof, beam to use 3000psi concrete

Second floor slab, beam to use 3000psi concrete ready mix
Slab on fill, wall footing to use 2500psi concrete.
All concrete mix shall use Portland cement of approved
brand ( Rizal, Republic, Island )
All aggregates to be used shall be clean and from approved
source Gravel ( G-1, G-3/4 ) crushed from Angono.
White sand from Porac
Concrete sample testing from accredited testing center shall be
submitted.

B. Reinforcement

All structural component to use Grade 40

All secondary structures to use Grade 33

C. Steel Roof Frame

As indicated on the plan

Must be painted with red lead primer and one coat enamel

D. Masonry Works
Exterior wall to use 150mm. C.H.B @ 700 psi
Interior wall to use 100mm. C.H.B. @ 700 psi
All CHB mortar and plastering must used Portland cement
of approved brand ( Rizal, Republic, Island )
All floor topping and plain cement finishing must use the
specified approved cement brand

VII.PAINTING

2. All painting materials should be delivered in the jobsite in their
original container.
3. For all masonry surfaces, walls, ceiling, interior and exterior, apply
three coats of Boysen Monokote, apply full body after treating it
chemically. All uneven surfaces should be scrapped and patched
up between coats.
4. Panel doors, cabinets, closet doors, cornices and baseboard shall be stain finish
(all varnish materials should be Boysen brand)
5. See attached painting scope of work for number of coats and kind of
paint to be applied for each surfaces.

VIII.ROOFING
