Train travel
Yatrikas may have to board the onward train between 5th evening and 7th night of October, 2011.
Similarly on the return they may have to board between 15th evening and 17th night. Trust reserves
the right to decide on this.
Train travel would be by sleeper class. No reduction for senior citizens, as we are booking the rail
tickets in bulk. Trust would buy AC class ticket (or request the yatrika to buy if need be) if the yatrika
has accepted for it. Extra charges at actual would be collected.
All yatrikas must carry atleast one original photo id card like voter id, PAN card, driving license etc.
Trust does not take responsibility of reserving a lower birth for any one. Any exchange must be
handled by the yatrika at the time of travel.
Except for Brindavan darshan, yatrikas would be taken by non AC – 50 seater bus every day morning.
Buses would be parked at Mathura, Gokul etc at the parking lot and from there yatrikas should form
a line and start parikrama by walk and have darshan. Distance to be covered by walk every day (in
4 hours) is about 3 kms. Those who cannot walk can engage rikshas or autos at their cost. For one
day, darshan inside brindavan would be by rikshas and autos at the cost of the yatrikas. Yatrikas
should adhere to the time schedule that would be announced daily. Since daily distances are short
no specific seat allotment in the buses.
Accomodation
Accomodation would be in rooms (to be shared by 6 to 8 people) or in mini halls (to be shared by 30
to 40 people). Bathrooms and toilets may or may not be attached. Trust does not assure western
toilet. While the trust would take care to accommodate aged people in the ground floor, it cannot be
assured. Any exchange can be mutual between the yatrikas. Accomodation would be given from the
time of arrival of nominated train till the time of leaving. Yatrikas would be transported to their
accommodation by bus from the train station.
Food
Food would be served on all days (except train travel) as per the schedule given in the brochure.
Yatrikas are requested to carry their plate wherever they go. Possible food would be served in the
train from the next session after boarding – for example if you board on 6th evening, food would be
served from 7th morning during train travel. Since every day we are on darshan, there may be delays
in serving and so diabetic patients are advised to keep some instant food handy. While drinking
water would be available during dinner at the pandal, yatrikas should make their own arrangements
during other sessions and during travel by bus or train.
All those who have chosen to make their own arrangement to and from Brindavan under this category
must also fill the enrollment form and inform us of their travel arrangements. They must reach a
place nominated by trust at Brindavan before 7 am on 9th October. Trust does not undertake any pick
or drop from and to Delhi. Programme would conclude on 15th October at 6 pm. So, return arrangement
can be made after that time. Those who avail railway pass facility can inform their seat number to the
trust, so that food is served to them in the train and they are rightly transported to their accommodation.
These yatrikas must buy the tickets on their own in the train as advised by the trust.
