Senior Associate - PL/SQL Developer
* Developed ASP front end applications for searching and updating an Oracle DB
at Independence IT.
* Coded every level of PL/SQL including reports, procedures, packages, triggers
, tables, views, snapshots, DB links to other DBs/etc.
* Became the Subject Matter Expert in GEMS (Global Entity Management System). V
ery complex SQL queries were used that entailed hierarchical structures and recu
rsion.
* Developed IPortal front end for PwC Global.
* Developed and enhanced several ASP and PL/SQL systems. Also worked with SQL j
obs and schedulers on a minor basis. Performed tuning frequently.
* Answered user problem records (CCRBs) for day to day operations which include

* Corrected problems for an ASP based front end retail system for tracking extr
a contracts with vendors called Ancillary Revenue system where vendors pay retai
lers to display their signs/adds in store/etc.
* Wrote PL/SQL, SQL Server, DB2 procedures/packages/etc to handle this system a
nd many others. This included taking a user front end from a problem state upon
arrival to a working error free system, creating user screens to manipulate data
, and developing online reports in ASP from Oracle/PL/SQL and SQL Server DB.
* Developed support documentation for that system as well and supported client
server 24/7.
* Worked on Eckerds front end system for signs, product, and Advertisement plac
ement that allowed the business users to place all rows and products on shelves
in visual format before sending it to the store for final implementation.
* Supported Mainframe applications including reports, logistics, and financial
systems, developed and maintained DB2, Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Fileaid, etc to maintai
n Eckerds productions systems, supported 24x7.
* Served as team lead on several projects and led in design discussions and pro

* Received employee of the month, an Ounce of Quality, and individual corporate
awards for particular assignments, many amateur sports awards in running, tenni
s, and softball.
* Published book titled, Dance of the Little People. Nominated for Christian fi
ction award in 2007, formerly called Golden Medallion award.
* Broke a Quarterly JCL (Job) up into smaller jobs and redesigned it to run as
smaller units which was running for weeks with countless ABENDs and problems whi
ch cost up to a million dollars in liquidated damages. Afterwards the whole seri
es ran in less than 13 hours and never went over the time line for liquidated da
mages again while I was there.
