Tutored and mentored students, when I started this position in 2007 the stu
dents were in 7th and 8th grade so I followed them through 9th and 10th grade.
Organized college/university field trips with the collaboration of the gui
dance counselor and head of GEAR UP.

different learning abilities or other concerns after working with students.

Some children could not sit through a whole lesson due to their behavioral/
mental/birth addictions so I would take them for a walk through the school or si
t just outside the group with them so they still got the lesson but did not feel
so overwhelmed by the crowd.
