Development Manager 2005 - 2010
Managed the start-up of over $275MM in hotel development (over 20 projects) on t
he East Coast that consisted of site selection, permit approvals, construction m
onitoring with frequent site visits, and turnover to operations at CO.
- Led development team that remodeled 100 year old Historic building in Downtow
n Baltimore. Project awarded Marriott's best use of existing space in 2009
- Managed the construction of 11-story Hampton Inn & Suites hotel at the Nation
al Harbor Development outside Washington DC, becoming the first business in the
development to achieve a CO.
- Managed dual hotel project (over 195,000 sq ft) that brought 340 rooms to the
Dulles area outside Washington DC .

ESA, Spartanburg, South Carolina


Construction Manager 1998 - 2004
Managed over $175 MM in hotel development in the Northeast that included establi
shing a General Contractor base in the NY market, negotiating utility rates with
the local power companies and developed agreements with the local Unions on pro
jects in the NY/ Northern NJ area.
- Managed one of the quickest builds (under 7 months) in ESA company history lo
cated in Middletown New Jersey.
- Supervised the development team that built the first 7 story ESA in the New Y
ork market that included VE savings of close to $4 million dollars.
- Named Outstanding CM in 2000

EINSTEIN BROTHERS BAGELS, Boulder, Colorado

Managed the development team in the Northeast that opened 45 restaurants worth $
50 MM that included negotiating construction terms with landlords, developed sta
ndard equipment delivery sequence for all projects and liaison with corporate de
sign team on incorporating design changes that would minimize cost to the projec

Supervised 10 NYC locations with VE savings over 3 MM.
