calibration adjustments. The program
allows a computer file to be created after every setting or
calibration change to document and print any changes to the
sensor.

Esc=escape Pressing Esc will exit the user out of a sub
routine or when at the main menu, will exit the UIP software.
In addition to saving new calibration settings to the EEPROM
when exiting the program, you may wish to save your settings on a
separate disk as back up. To do so, select the s save command from
the main menu. New sensor variables will not automatically be
saved to the 2001V sensor EEPROM unless the user selects <Yes>
when prompted. If an error occurs before the user is able to store
new settings, e.g., power failure, the user will find the most
recently entered settings under the filename LAST.SET. To load
these settings onto the sensor, select the l load key command from
the main menu.
Error Messages
Communication Error
The 2001V sensor should be warmed up before UIP
communication can take place. If you receive a communication
error, confirm that the correct serial port number was selected. If
the port number is correct, check the sensor power and RS-232
communication cable connections.

Checksum Error
A checksum error is a sensor memory failure. If this occurs, an
error box with four options is displayed (in the preferred order).
As a first option, the user should exit the software, disconnect the
RS-232 computer cable and disconnect power from the sensor. It is
possible that any temporary memory error will be corrected upon
repowering up the unit. If after restarting the sensor and program,
the error still exists, the user may restore data by loading a
previously saved backup file. If a backup file of the sensor's
settings does not exist, select the <Default> option in order to load
the sensor microprocessor with valid start-up data. If the user
selects the final <Continue> override option, the operator should
carefully check all set values and sensor readings for accuracy. If
any of these values are incorrect, the user should exit the software
and reenter through the <Default> option.

2001V Ventostat®:
When the error message is displayed, select the <Continue> option
and proceed to the main menu of the UIP. If all of the information
displayed on this screen looks accurate, exit the program by
pressing ESC. When asked to Store in EEPROM, select <Yes>.
Your sensor will automatically be upgraded. If any of the data
displayed on the main menu is incorrect, exit the software (do not
save changes), disconnect power from the sensor and repeat this
procedure.

1320 CO2 Measuring System with Sampling Probe:

When the error message is displayed choose the <Default> option.
Using the up/down arrow keys, select Model 1320. Select <No>
when asked to reset calibration parameters. If all of the information
displayed on main menu screen looks accurate, exit the program by
pressing ESC. When asked to Store in EEPROM, select the <Yes>
option. Your sensor is now upgraded. If any of the data displayed
on the main menu is incorrect, exit the software (do not save
changes), disconnect power from the sensor and repeat this
procedure.
