Initiated strategic planning for CSA Fraternal Life, a historically reactive or
ganization. Identified a marketplace niche, streamlined operations and increased
insurance in force by 24% and new insurance issued by 115% in the first term of
our strategic plan.
Formulated a Public Relations plan to make CSA Fraternal Life more visible in t
he community. Improved the public image of the society and became the go-to spo
kesman for all Czech-related matters at a time of newsworthy events in the Czech
Republic.
Implemented professional employee compensation and performance management pract
ices. Improved employee morale by establishing pay-for-performance, and retaine
d a high quality staff.
Provided a solution to the City of Berwyn after the failure of a referendum to
fund construction of a central library. Demonstrated that CSAs headquarters bui
lding was a suitable and cost effective solution to the citys problem, and negot
iated a sale that benefited both entities without the need for new tax revenue.
Led CSA through a bottlenecked computer conversion by establishing project coor
dination meetings involving all key employees, holding all parties to performanc
e expectations and open dialogue. Accelerated the resolution of problems and im
plementation of an effective operating system.
Delivered comprehensive, off-the-cuff presentations of all CSA membership progr
ams, benefits or other topics whenever requested. Educated and entertained audi

when programs fell short.
