Reporting directly to the Executive VP - the primary responsibility of this pos
ition was to build a North American distributorship network and generate project
s using cradle to grave project management. New product development, annual sale
s forecast creation, introduction of pricing strategies, and the development of
new suppliers.
Liaise directly with, designers, engineers, general contractors and sub contrac
tors, to establish design intent, product viability and the successful supply an
d installation of the completed product.
Design, create and implement a product knowledge base for all aspects of the Gi
uliani product lines (2 divisions).
Provide support and direction to the corporate manufacturing group.
Develop presentations, advertisements, promotions, on-line presence and technic
al training to regional sales managers and distributors.
Develop technical quotations with complete commercial details
Develop technical documentation from Italian/English translations
Oversee spare parts and service pricing and availability

Reporting directly to the Executive VP - the Operations position provided addit
ional accountability for both the Giuliani and Iemca divisions in the areas of p
urchasing and quality, as well as operational responsibility.
Prepared the company to start assembling IEMCA machinery in North America. This
included but was not limited to transition plan creation, budgetary development
and control, plant design, equipment layout, quality system implementation, hir
ing management team, hiring service engineer team and factory personnel, new pro
duct and process implementation and the efficient supply of quality products on-
time.
Worked at corporate facility in Italy to develop a hands-on Bills of Materials
for 3 new machines to be assembled in North America.
Created improved inventory storage system to eliminate picking and shipping err
ors
Developed technical instruction documents and charts to help employees quickly
learn.
Prepared monthly tracking of machine and spare part orders to corporate office
in Italy.
Provided monthly sales forecasts to corporate office in Italy

Reporting directly to the Executive VP to provide corporate accountability for
two divisions and be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing.
During this period the Iemca products were being sold by a exclusive distributo
r in St. Louis and my responsibilities were to oversee the sales, service and ma
rketing of the distributor, identify areas to increase market share, develop a q
uarterly reporting process for continual improvement of all regional sales manag
ers and visit OEMs, Dealers and End Users to qualify their satisfaction of the s
ales/service experience.
Direct sales and marketing of the Giuliani products to end-users throughout Nor
th America,
Establishing long-term relationships (some for 25 years) with end-users based o
n trust and personal commitment to satisfy their needs with cradle to grave proj
ects.
Technical and commercial communications with the Italian corporate facility to
make sure all aspects of both standard and customized machine building and autom
ation was according to the end-user expectations.
Overseeing spare part sales and service operations for the Giuliani division.
Locating North American suppliers to reduce automation costs.

rs. Previously Giuliani had been represented by a North American distributor (Co
sa Corporation).
Incorporated Giuliani USA as an independent company in the State of New York an
d hired service, spare part and administrative employees.
Personally responsible for increasing machine sales x 5 in a niche market and s
pare part sales x 4.
Providing technical advice to corporate to help develop machinery best suited t
o the North America market.
Translating Italian/English commercial and technical documents, quotations, seq
uence of operations and other technical data to USA standards

Securing currency futures to avoid exchange rate losses.

Incorporating a additional division IEMCA USA in 1993 that eventually became IG
M-USA (Iemca Giuliani Machinery)
Hiring additional personnel as the company continued to grow and finally become
so successful that IGM-USA was purchased by BUCCI Industries in 1997.
