Primary Responsibilities: Operational and reporting responsibility for all West
Group Operations Sites across the Western US and Canada (5 Recycle Centers, 4 Di
stribution Centers and 4 Waste Accumulation Centers). Provide daily oversight,
support and direction to West Group Divisional Disposal Managers. Primary int
erface for the West Group with Central Logistics, Internal Fleet Support and Sup
ply Chain. Represent the West Group from an operations and logistics perspectiv
e on all critical task forces and initiatives. Identify and drive cost saving
and continuous improvement initiatives.
Significant Accomplishments:
2009: SK Lead for an expansive Logistic Improvement Project currently underway.
Project includes six major pillars targeted to generate a combined $15.2M in EB
ITA saving in 2010 against 2009 run-rates for 3rd Party OTR and Internal Fleet t
ransportation; successful relocation of Safety-Kleen's only major West Coast Dis
tribution Center from Pomona to Ontario, CA; disposal routing and cost saving in
itiatives on track to deliver $1M+ in annualized savings; YTD revenue up 5.7% on
direct ship business into West Group RCs.
2008: SK President's Council Winner, President's Circle of Excellence Award; suc
cessfully completed major infrastructure consolidation within the Western Canadi
an District (Delta, BC), consolidated a Branch, RC and AC ($2.4M CAPX); identifi
ed and captured a consolidated sustainable $1.7M in operational cost savings; di
rected operational aspects of the formal divestiture and transfer of two operat
ing Recycle Centers (Chicago, IL and Hebron, OH) to Clean Harbors; YOY revenue g
rowth of 8.3% on direct ship business into West Group RCs.
2007: SK President's Council Winner, Leadership Team Award; successfully complet
ed major infrastructure consolidation within the Eastern Canadian District (Cham
bly, QC), consolidated a Branch, RC, AC and National Sales office ($2.8M CAPX);
coordinated and completed $1.1M in infrastructure upgrades at the Dolton, IL and
Denton, TX Recycle Centers; identified and captured $5.1M in sustainable operat
ional expense savings (disposal, trans, site based op-expenses); developed with

Responsibilities: Operational and reporting responsibility for 10 Recycle Center

Significant Accomplishment: During 2003 and 2004 directed a major operational re
duction in force in conjunction with processing site consolidation initiative, a

Primary Responsibilities: Operational and reporting responsibility for the Dento

Significant Accomplishments: Successfully defeated Union activity that was on-go
ing prior to job acquisition through interactive management techniques and union
avoidance training of existing Facility Departmental Management Team.
