* Reporting directly to the Director of Operations have direct responsibility of
all incoming materials and outgoing products with an average annual value $300
million supervising a staff of 25 employees.
* Successfully negotiated a 40% reduction in shipping costs by the establishment
or good business relationships to gain concessions. Annual savings equal approx
imately $12 million per year.
* Implemented scanning system for all incoming and outgoing materials lowering d
irect labor costs by 35%. The technology saved additional hours by eliminating a
ll keystroke errors with the previous system.
* Developed all packaging configurations for product shipment.

* Utilized year round cycle counting methods to monitor inventory. Method provid
ed a more accurate idea of stock on hand and eliminated annual inventory reducin
g labor costs.
