Contractual Positon-RAYTHEON-Tikrit, Iraq January 2007 to June 2007
Supported the military RAID (Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment) Program for vide
o surveillance of enemy forces, to observe the placement of IEDs. Trained and ce
rtified on FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) Cameras, 17 meter Aerostat Blimps. Ma
intain data network which consist of video and contact closer modems, map overla

2003 to 2005
Telecommunications Manager
Provided leadership and technical expertise relative to installations, migration
s, operations, and maintenance of voice and data telecommunications projects for
the United States Federal Government. Communicated with project managers and di
rectors of information services within the State Department, from enlisted to ge
nerals in the military, and project managers, engineers, and technicians on the
general contractor level.
Contractual Projects:
TAMSCO - Iraq
Worked with four technicians and other subcontractors supporting up to 1,000 end
-users within the Multi-National Force-Iraq, Presidential Palace Compound, and s
even additional enclaves. Served as the hands on AVAYA Team Leader supervising
up to 10 technical subcontractors involved in the migration from tactical RedCom
IGX to installation and maintenance of new strategic AVAYA Definity PBX with S8
700 Media Server, including a multi-connect gateway and Cisco Call Manager netwo
rk. Supervised a communications manager upgrade that was totally seamless for a
ll end-users, completing project on-time and within budget
Contract - Iraq
Worked with and directed a team installing telecommunications and SIPR/NIPR netw
orks, OSP/ISP connecting fiber optics, microwave, CAT5E, and Cisco switches to s
upport 600 end-users within the Coalition Provisional Authority. Re-cabled and
re-terminated 7,200 terminations and approximately 400,000 feet of cable through
out the entire North Wing of the Presidential Palace-completed 2 days ahead of s
chedule and received commendation from 3-star general for no disruption of servi
ce and a seamless migration.
Contract - McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey
Managed all operations and maintenance for a $30 million telecommunications and
LAN network project at McGuire Air Force Base. Supervised 8 technicians working
on a DMS-100 switch, SL-100 remotes, SL-1 switch, Nortel OPTera 3500's, Transpo
rt Node Express CX, various Cisco switches, and routers, as well as fiber optics
, microwave, CAT5E, CAT3, copper cable, and SIPRNET/NIPRNET connectivity. Disco
vered inaccuracy in permanent records on ISP/OSP infrastructure, allowing for a
$250,000 bid and new contract-brought system up to compliance, improved ability
to meet requests for service outages, and achieved an 85% reduction in project c
ompletion time
Contract - San Antonio, Texas
Served as a team leader and secure network engineer, designing, installing, and
maintaining SecureLogix Telephony Management Systems for Department of Defense a
t military installations worldwide. Reduced costs by 10% and eliminated delays

Telecommunications Technician
Supervised 12 technicians providing remote WAN installation and maintenance thro

ence (PoP) in Houston, Texas. Enabled company to reduce testing staff and decre
