In-Building Antennas and Cables in the World
With continued pressures to drive down CAPEX, procuring the most economical passive
devices may be tempting from an initial cost savings perspective, but the risk of crippling
your network is far greater and more costly from an OPEX standpoint.
Going with the lowest cost vendor also doesn’t guarantee your network will enjoy any longevity.
While your network might work today, problems such as passive intermodulation (PIM) may
materialize in a matter of days, weeks or months, as vibration and moisture issues take hold.

of non-ferric based designs, to network design, through field installation, imple-

Indoor Omni-directional Antennas

Despite being compact, in-building Cell-Max Omni Directional antennas are substantial
wide band antennas designed to last due to the specific choice of materials and careful
assembly methods.
Low IMD versions are treated with even further attention to details, all joints are soldered,
and only the very best quality components used, from copper elements to specific low
PIM connector and pigtail.
The element design offers homogeneous patterns for such wide band antennas, and
higher gain values where it matters.
Antennas are 100% tested for VSWR and low IMD products 100% PIM tested.

Hybrid Couplers

N Female Connectors
Andrew’s hybrid couplers are designed to meet the specific needs of
the wireless market. Andrew’s hybrid couplers are most commonly used
to combine two wireless carriers to a single antenna feed or cable. This
requires the termination of one output port in 50 ohms, and results in
a 3 dB loss in each signal. In situations where two similar feeds are
required–for example in-building applications–both outputs may be
used, eliminating the need for a termination and the 3 dB loss.

HELIAX® Series Cable

Aluminum Plenum Rated— AL4RPV-50

Our newest offering, HELIAX AL4RPV-50 cable, is a cost-effective alternative
to copper plenum solutions, applicable for all common frequency bands, and
offers excellent VSWR and PIM performance. HELIAX AL4RPV-50 is designed
with an aluminum outer corrugated conductor and PVC jacket. The superior
extruded dielectric construction allows for consistent mechanical strength and
electrical performance throughout the entire cable. ( AL4RPV-50

HL/HJ Series Copper Plenum Rated Cable—HL4RP-50A

This premium copper plenum series of cable has been field proven over
decades of use. HELIAX copper allows a choice of cables for the most
demanding applications while also providing flexibility for specific frequencies
and attenuation needs. ( HL4RP-50A
LDF Series Copper Riser Rated Cable—LDF4RK-50A
Designed for low loss, HELIAX LDF Series cables have a closed-cell, foam-
polyethylene dielectric that maintains its characteristics over time. The lower
density foam allows higher velocities and provides lower attenuation than
FSJ cables. Attenuation characteristics approach those of similarly sized air
dielectric cables. These cables are typically designed for high frequency appli-
cations.
