ENGLISH
1) Create your own village scene with the help of pictures, cut-outs or drawing and write a short
paragraph describing it. Do this on ¼ chart paper.

2) Imagine yourself as a month of the calendar and then write all about yourself.
(Hint: Hi! I am April. I am the fourth month of the year. My first date is celebrated as April Fool’s
Day……..)

3) Spellathon. Create words from the following grid. Keep in mind that each word starts with “C”.

4) Read the book “The Blue Umbrella” by Ruskin Bond and write a review of the book, review should
include
- the title of the book, publisher and the price.
- Story line
- Characters
- Also illustrate a scene or a part of story which you liked most.

NOTE : Q2,3 and 4 to be done in thin notebook.

1. Prepare a collage on ¼ size of chart paper on the allotted neighbouring countries of India. Activity to be
done housewise.

[The collage should contain information on climate, lifestyle, tourist spots, festivals etc.]

2. On the map of India locate and mark the states of India.

Choose any one state of your choice and prepare a collage on ¼ size chart paper complete with colourful
pictures.

3. Know your city Gurgaon.

Take a round of your city during the holidays and prepare an attractive picture calendar on your city
complete with pictures. You can also click pictures of yourself and your family while visiting malls, metro,
parks etc.

1. Make the ‘YEAR CIRCLE’ on a circlular cardboard. Use strips of different colours to decorate it.
