Directed all purchasing and inventory control for 4 construction supply faciliti
es located in Nevada and California, including off-site yards. Worked closely w
ith wholesalers and brokers throughout the US and Canada to obtain and ship the
best quality products with optimal price and delivery service. Tracked inbound
products by rail or truck to meet production requirements.
Met regularly with sales staff to discuss market conditions and future needs and
sales projections. Managed and trained the LCL buyer responsible for purchasin
g engineered wood products. Administered the Ridgeline purchasing and inventory
system, and monitored bidding and estimate costs. Performed monthly physical i
