Inmar, Inc. - 2601 Pilgrim Court - Winston-Salem, NC
Developed a system to allow direct input from a Bar code scanner into an RPG app
lication for the Inmar Company CMS (Carolina Manufacturing Services). Triggers
and Embedded SQL were preeminent in this application.
Selected Contributions:
* Coupons were scanned and parsed in to usable data segments for evaluation by t
he end-user.
* Merged current rules into new coupon standards for a more streamline method in
verifying coupon validity.
* Oversaw all Design, Development, Testing, and Change control. All required de
partmental signoffs.
Provided CLS with a Customer to Customer analysis of the Iseries Systems convert
ibility to a production SQL Data base system purchase during an acquisition. Ise
ries Data was merged into the SQL data base for parallel analysis and evaluation
by decision makers - Include TSQL queries, Stored procedures, and file updates
and creations.

Selected Contributions:
* Initialized a customized analysis of each customers current business requireme
nts
* Non-normalized Iseries Data had to be flatten out and merged into SQL data bas
e and parallel reporting was produced.
* Alternatives were presented for taking ISeries data directly to the Web Portal
and bypassing SQL Server altogether.
* Work was considered outstanding by CLS management.

Developed and Enhanced the Reverse Logistics System for Carolina Logistics Servi
ces (aka CLS) from the Company's infancy to a 100+ million dollar enterprise. S

gical side and Customer Service which proved instrumental in building success in

* Implemented Aldon's change management system to better control source changes
and object implementations
* Ad-hoc reporting and training created for the End-User
* Created corporate reporting System which consolidated multiple customers under
the same company for the Corporate Leadership.
* Ran eight consecutive year without any unscheduled downtime on the Iseries.
