Planned and managed CAD and GIS projects for clients of Fortune 500 global desig
n, engineering, and construction company specializing in sea port and seawall de
sign, construction, and revitalization. Served as CAD Lead, CAD/GIS Graphics Man
ager, CAD/Graphics Designer Specialist, and Technical Lead on projects. Supervis
ed up to 12 design specialists and team leads. Coordinated design and production
teams. Worked closely with marketing and engineering groups. Reviewed project p

* Developed design and construction document for repairing foundation voids in M
arina Del Ray Sea Wall. Created CAD standards, new bathometric and land survey m
aps, and production drawings. Designed .NET-based link to client website, enabli

racking of erosion conditions for future repairs. Formulated master plan to reso
lve all erosion and degradation issues.
* Increased productivity of design and drafting staff members as much as 35% by
creating online webinars and training classes in areas such as Advanced CAD, Vis
ual Basic, and .NET.
* Saved US Navy $150K. Prepared 3D CAD models of NAVFAC Silencing Facility cable
 support structure as part of larger facility upgrade. Enabled engineers to visu
alize cable routing and structure conflicts. Delivered models demonstrating sea
floor cable layouts and grid formations.
* Oversaw GIS integration and enhancement for San Diego Unified Port District. I
ntegrated CAD drawing geometry into Port's Homeland Security GIS system. Managed
procedure sorting and prioritization of upgrading. Created translation tool to
automatically scan new engineering drawings during migration to construction pha
se. Designed tool to automatically update GIS database and provide Port police,
emergency services, and Homeland Security vehicles with up to date infrastructur
