SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Project Coordination: Assisted in the exhibition of Baja to Vancouver: West Coas
t Art. This required interacting with representatives from San Diego Museum of
Contemporary Art, Vancouver Art Gallery and California College of Art to coordin
ate this traveling exhibit including collecting, insuring and shipping the art.
Many of the pieces were non-traditional. As a result, the art was accurately do
cumented, well-protected and the exhibit remained within budget.
Cost Efficiencies: Saved Seattle Art Museum storage costs by conducting an inve
ntory to determine which objects in outside storage were no longer useful to the
Museum. After determining square foot and cost required for storage, calculated
savings to the Museum by eliminating stored items from the collection.
Collaboration: Served as Registrar for a large traveling exhibition from Yale Un
iversity. Served as the intermediary between Yale and SAM staff to ensure that
the logistics were coordinated properly. As a result of effective communication
and teamwork, the exhibit was ready ahead of schedule.
Problem Solving: During the John Singer Sargent exhibit at SAM, the Nisqually ea
rthquake took place. Confirmed with all lender that works were safe, shaken not
stirred. At the end of the show, while doing a final condition report, noticed
one painting had a scratch. Quickly made contact with the lender, made arrangeme

er who was satisfied with the outcome.
