aggressive goal of registering four sites to ISO 14001 in 12 months, while seaml
essly integrating a four-site environmental management system into the 16-site Q
MS significantly reducing the complexity of the resultant Integrated Management
System (IMS) and considerably reduced system maintenance costs of close to 2 mil
lion dollars per year. This model of an IMS became a model for other Siemens' s
ites.
* Destruct and non-destruct (NDT) testing, inspection and calibration laboratori
es, including the acquisition of hardware and software, documenting of processes
, cross-training and development of personnel, equipment installation and labora
tory process verification. These systems consist of thousands of measuring inst
ruments, where goals of maximizing employee competency, process efficiency, meas
urement accuracy and repeatability, and minimal operating costs were achieved.
* Manages 14-ISO Managers and 4-ISO Environmental, Health & Safety Managers in o
rder to simultaneously implement, maintain and continually improve new and revis
ed processes and practices, with a focus on maintaining compliance with ever-cha
nging corporate, customer and regulatory requirements.
* Ensures all quality assurance requirements are met for products destined for d
elivery to two new nuclear power plants, including those of ASME, NQA-1, "Qualit
y Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications", by designing / deve
loping, documenting and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of al
l quality plans and procedures / instructions for each of the six (6) sites requ
ired to be in conformance to NQA-1.
