Plants and their products such as fruits are used in chemistry as a source of
acquisition or improvement of existing products, making them reduce the risk to
be used when using some products containing harmful health effects from
chemical point can not be prevented immediately because that can throw
considered harmful side effects are unpredictable, therefore the chemical is
following the ideology of g reen chemistry to reduce the risk in people who use
health products which are generally used by human beings, following the
principle number 3 of this philosophy that says, "Whenever possible, synthetic
methods should be designed to use and generate substa nces with little or no
toxicity to humans and to the environment. "chemistry is all around us especially
in the food we eat, and from there to observe arbutin methods to identify some
products or plants, hydroquinone -ȕ-O-glucoside arbutin is major component of
some drugs from one of the branch of chemistry (phytochemistry) analyzed
different origins as Arctostaphylos uva -ursi (blueberry), Vaccinium vitis idaea L.
- Cranberry and Blueberry - list (Myrtilli folium) in natural products obtaining
accurate results in research, each of the sources listed above have free
hydroquinone and arbutin substantial percentages in their natural form without
any chemical process, the tests performed by TLC process show us the content
and regular percentage that each of the three possesses medicinal uses in our
community are little known, and through didactic is fair to say that we want to
educate a little in this area.
