Bible Treasure Hunt

Rules and Instructions:

1. Read the Bible verses and fill in the missing words to find out what object you will be looking for.
2. If you don't know the answer, you can look it up in your Bible.
3. The missing word or object to be found in the verse does not have to be taken literally (exactly how it is
used in the verse). For example, the word could be frog, which is referring to a real live frog, but you could
use a picture of a frog. However, you may not draw the picture yourself. You cannot create the objects. You
must find them already created.

Little Sparrow

Text:

Proverbs 15:3, "The eyes of the Lord are in every place."

Lesson:

One fine sunny day, a little sparrow flew inside the house looking for food. The children chased the bird but every
time they came close, the sparrow fluttered away in a desperate search for a way out. Before they eventually chased
it outside, the bird flew frantically from room to room until its chest throbbed from its rapid heartbeat. Sometimes
we are like that little bird and are anxious and afraid of what might happen to us. But, God wants to comfort us.
Matthew 10:29 says:

"Not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from God's will."

Yes, God sees and knows everything in the world and in our lives. Proverbs 15:3 tells us that "The eyes of the
Lord are in every place." Nothing escapes God's attention and that includes you! God understands us fully and in
Matthew 10:30, Jesus said:

"The very hairs of your head are all numbered."

Now that's amazing that God keeps a count of all of our hairs! He even knows when one little hair falls out! Since
He knows about such small details, we can trust that God sees and cares about the big things in our lives.

When we ask Him for help, God knows exactly how to help us, no matter what our circumstances. So always trust
Him to help you overcome your fears and anxieties.
God bless!
