* Introduced and acted as liaison in the procurement two new clients generating
over $ 1,250,000 in new annualized company revenues.
* Restructured and staffed new provider discount profit center that will gene
rate over $ 525,000 in new company revenues.
* Chaired management committee in the process and completion of SAS II Certif
ication that helped increase company operational efficiencies and enhanced marke
tability of 21st Century for new business procurement.
* Acted as committee head to negotiate and institute EDI for provider network
s that will generate over $ 250,000 in new company revenues.
* Audited and redesigned the telecommunication systems, land phone services an
d high speed internet services to increase customer and employee serviceability,
employee productivity and decreasing annual expenditures by 41 %.
* Arranged new corporate banking relationships to enhance profitability and mo
re effective money management software.
* Redesigned staff and staffing inefficiencies to decrease expenses by 8 % and i
ncrease productivity by 12 %.

AAA South Jersey January 1988 to September 1996 Controller Responsible for en
tire corporate accounting department function at AAA South Jersey, the Southern
New Jersey region for the largest automobile roadside assistance membership club
in the world. AAA South Jersey also owns AAA Insurance Agency, AAA Travel Agen
cy and Auto Club Services Co.
Significant Accomplishments:
* Designing and instituting a detailed managerial budgeting process by company a
nd branch offices that increased revenues and decreased expenditures by placing
responsibility on the specific profit and cost centers.
* Instituted a Total Quality Management Program empowering all employees to take
accountability for the quality of service performed. This resulted in a signif
icant increase in morale as measured by employee surveys and a significant incre
ase in employee retention.
* Restructuring employee benefit package that resulted in reduced health welfare
insurance premiums of 38 %.
* Introduced and administered new products and programs that increased AAA insur
ance revenues by 14 %
* Developed the AAA Auto Buying program that generated additional auto insurance
revenues and program revenues in excess of $ 215,000 annually.
* Reduced advertising costs by over 50 % while increasing market penetration of
advertisements.
* Decreased overtime pay hours by 42 % by offering employees flex and comp-time,
and staff auditing while increasing employee output and productivity.
* Audited and redesigned the telecommunication systems and phone services to inc
rease both customer and employee serviceability and decreasing expenditures by 2
2 %.
* Participating in the RFP and purchasing process of new integrated customized s
oftware packages for all four companies.
* Participating in the corporate office expansion and new branch office cost ana
lysis, space planning and scheduling.
