Area community college serving 15,000 students and staffing
approximately 500 between 4 campuses. CAC hosts Department of
Corrections education and release programs for inmates.
PROFESSOR OF AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY / ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS
Instruct on-site automotive technology courses for 2 prison
facilities. Provide training to both beginner-level and advanced
students. Lead hands-on exercises in the shop environment. Assign
textbook exercises. Guide students in maintaining facility vehicles
and equipment. Evaluate incoming work for prioritization, repair and
completion requirements. Assess parts received or needed, assign and
track work requirements per student. Monitor individual performance.
Supervise student vehicle inspections and perform both follow-up
inspections and quality inspections. Order necessary parts.

Service Excellence (ASE) exam, 30% higher than the national average

maintenance. Eliminated $200,000 in contract costs by negotiating a
1-year contract for the base. During phased inspection of aircraft,
maintained an 85% Fully Mission Capable rate, maintained a 100%
on-time delivery rate, and grew Quality Verification Inspection pass
rates from 44% to 87% exceeding Air Force standards by 7%. Also
improved on-time delivery by 30%. Instrumental in launching the drone
program quality assurance plan. While performing recruiting duties,
