ng funds for startup and for maintaining shareholder value. Responsible for ori
ginating all financial information including budget projections, daily accountin
g results, prepared monthly profit and loss/balance sheet numbers, completed all
financial modeling as well as originating and updating the business plan, and m
anaged and communicated results to potential shareholders and investors. Engage
d in monitoring all accounts receivable and managed the accounts payable functio
n. Kept operating expenses (crush margin) below that of other solvent oilseed e
xtraction plants even though the plant was in the startup phase. Worked in the
shipping and receiving areas of the plant on a frequent basis and handled the lo
gistics function as well. Fully familiar with the procurement of raw materials
as well as the inventory of same. Was in control of the marketing functions of
the feed mill and the negotiation of product sales of oil and meal production.
The feed sales customer base was built through my contacts in the dairy and hog
