Work Experience___________________________________________________
1. Organization: Currently working with TATA POWER-NORTH DELHI POWER LIMITED,
posted in Power System Control as Executive from November 2010 to till date.

Job Responsibility:
In Distribution system

• Controlling and monitoring of complete 11 kV network through DMS (distribution

management system)/DA.
• 11 kV effective back feeding through DMS/DA.
• Fault location through FPI alarm.
• Maintain the reliability and safety of distribution system.
• Reduce the restoration time as well as MUs loss by using DA (distribution automation).
In Sub-transmission system

• Controlling and monitoring of unmanned grids (66/33/11kV level) through SIEMENS

SCADA .
• Maintaining the load Flow control.
• Managing Reactive power by switch on/off suitable capacitor banks.
• Practice to give outages in sub-transmission and distribution network through “Permit to
Work” system and ensure accident free working.
• Ensuring prompt restoration of power following breakdown in the HT system.

• Effective load shedding as instructed by DTL / NRLDC to maintain system frequency under
limit to avoid overloading on interconnected regional links.
• Load Forecasting: Demand scheduling of 15 min interval for the next day based on available
previous data by considering the next day’s weather forecast, available power etc.
• Identifying the false alarms, communication related issues, operational variances &
rectifying the same with the help of automation people

2. Organization: Previously working with TATA POWER COMPANY LTD- Transmission,

Mumbai from Sept 2008 to October 2010.
 Job Responsibility:
• Operation and Maintenance of 220/110/33/22/11 KV Receiving station equipments and circuits.
• Operation and Maintenance of 220KV Gas Insulated Sub-station and actively involved in the
erection of 220KV GIS bays.
• Testing of grid equipments, testing of cable
