As the Vice President of Business Development & Client Services at Camco Pacific
Construction Company, Mr. Rettig brings more than 27 years of experience in the
commercial construction & property development business to work for the benefit
of his customers. Mark uses his sales training and real estate brokerage insti
ncts, his land / property development background, and his building construction
/ value enhancement skills, to serve the needs of his clients.
Mark has a unique ability to identify, cultivate, develop and manage the buildin
g / construction objectives of his customers. With targeted marketing efforts,
Mark works to acquire and match client / project needs with Camco Pacific's deli
very of accurate estimating, pre-construction, project management and general co

Business Development & Client Services Background / Experience
Mark Rettig is a 27 year veteran of California's Commercial Real Estate Industry
. His building related business development career has included the production,
management and sales of a variety of property development opportunities and com
mercial construction contracts. Mark's real estate brokerage experience focused
on commercial property sales and leasing. As he transitioned into land acquisi
tions, property investment / development and building program planning for new c
onstruction, he refined his market feasibility analysis, due diligence, site ent
itlement and deal structuring skills.
Mark excels at the processes of transactional relationship management. He has s
uccessfully served a wide variety of property investors, building developers and
public / private commercial property end-users. For the past ten years Mark has
lead the business development, sales and client service efforts of a regional c
ommercial general contractor with annual contract sales volumes ranging from $35
million to $70 million.
Mr. Rettig's commercial real estate and building industry relationships include
a diverse network of investors, developers, retailers, hospitality operators, in
stitutional end-users, property managers, professional design / engineering cons
ultants, subcontractors and related service providers.
With a Bachelor of Arts - B.A. degree (1982) from Loyola Marymount University of
Los Angeles, Mark joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services as a l
icensed sales and leasing agent. Inspired by the transactional rewards of comme
rcial real estate development, Mark earned a Master of Real Estate Development -
M.R.E.D. degree (1987) from the University of Southern California's School of U
rban and Regional Planning.
Mark joined IDM Corporation (Investment, Development & Management) of Long Beach
, in 1987 and served a wide range of asset management and property development r
esponsibilities, including; commercial property market analysis, development pro
gram planning and land / building acquisitions. In 1992, as an independent proj
ect management consultant, Mr. Rettig served Hilton Hotels Corporation by perfor
ming strategic property improvement analysis on its national network of Airport
Business Hotels and Resort Properties.
By 1994, Mark began a transition to the Sub-Contractor side of the commercial co
nstruction industry. He successfully sold environmental subcontracting services
(asbestos/lead abatement & demolition) until 1999, when he applied his professi
onal experience and value added property improvement knowledge to the General Co
ntractor's role in the commercial building and development industry. Experience
d at obtaining public and private commercial construction contracts, Mark pursue
s a wide variety of construction work.
