I was part of the development team that developed a system that would receive Bi
ological Gene Sequences (DNA, RNA, and Protein) and attempt to identify them and
attempt to annotate them. The Web-enabled BioAGENT System would perform various
bioinformatics analysis to identify the gene sequences for counter measure phar
maceutics for Air Force Research and Development (DOD).

I developed and modify the existing software by implementing and identifying cur
rent bugs, issues within the software. The Propaq CS EKG Monitor was configured
as a stand-alone monitor that was connected to my Workstation. This was used wi
th a US Army Portable Rugged Field PDA. The PDA had to collect Trauma Vital Sign
s of patient?s pre-hospital prior to arrival. This required a system capable of
capturing patient data during transport from an incident scene to the receiving
hospital. This PDA then would be attached to the Propaq for the patient data to
be transferred then later converted from QRS raw waveform data that could be dis
played into Excel spreadsheet for physician?s research and development.
