re than 500 Contractor Companies and 2000 Contractor employees. Provide Safety
Training for Contractor employees on specific subjects such as Lock out/Tag out,
Excavation, Forklift Operator, Man lift Operator, Respiratory Protection, and R
espirator Fit Test. Asbestos Abatement, HazMat, etc. Assist Contractor Companie
s with developing their Safety Policies and Procedures to conform to Port of Oak
land OCIP Policies and Procedures, and State and Federal Regulations. Participa
te in OCIP Project claims review meetings working with Third Party Administrator
s, stewardship meetings, and Engineering progress meetings. Provide expert test
imony for claims that reach a judicial level. Observe and report environmental
issues to the Port of Oakland Environment Department.
