Humana:
* Lead the Member Service Center Experience Redesign to improve Humana's respon
se to member and provider problem resolution. Increased member satisfaction and
decreased disenrollment rates due to negative call center experiences.
* Lead team of Medicare Product Design, Product Implementation, Product Complia
nce and Strategic Communications stakeholders to redesign Humana's management of
the Medicare Member Renewal process and production of communications materials.
Increased efficiency of the annual development and rollout of AEP renewal commu
nications materials, stabilized costs and generated statistically significant im
provements in member understanding of the Medicare renewal materials, member sat
isfaction and member understanding of insurance plans.
Methodist Healthcare:
* Successfully developed, implemented and lead a system-wide inpatient satisfac
tion survey process that is competitive with nationally syndicated patient satis
faction survey products (Press Ganey, NRC-Picker). Under my leadership, inpatien
t satisfaction survey response rates increased and held by over 50% system-wide
throughout 2005. Timely monthly reports/analyses and collaborative consulting wi
th clinical managers have resulted in system-wide top-box satisfaction scores th
at rose from 56% in 2003 to 85% in 2005. Recipient of Big Momentum award, 2007.
HelpMate Robotics:
* Developed the New England Sales Territory, strategically positioned the HelpM
ate in this New England hospital market, implemented hospital robotic courier ap
plications, and coordinated/conducted seminars, demonstrations and in-house trai
ning for the use of the robot.
* Developed case study research to define the cost-benefit of HelpMate robotic
courier applications, and to increase market penetration in conservative New Eng
land hospital markets. These efforts generated 25% of the company's sales.
JHHMarket Directions
* Designed/conducted national product feasibility studies for the Nova Patient
Transfer System and for the HelpMate Robotic Courier. These studies provided the
strategic direction for bringing both products to market. Both products are cur
rently being manufactured and successfully marketed to hospitals throughout the
United States.
* Conceived and developed a breakthrough video reporting format. The ReportVide
o. ReportVideo documents and reports consumer research findings. Used regularly
for new product development and new product market decisions, product promotions
