Salutation
Christ is Risen!
He is risen indeed!
Welcome & Announcements
Preparation for Worship (silently pray the following collect to prepare for worship)
Almighty God, You show those in error the light of Your truth so that they may return to the way
of righteousness. Grant faithfulness to all who are admitted into the fellowship of Christ’s Church
that they may avoid whatever is contrary to their confession and follow all such things as are
pleasing to You; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the
Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Confession of Sin
Come, let us worship and bow down. Psalm 95.6
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker! <Kneel>
Most merciful God, we confess that we are by nature sinful and unclean, and that we have
sinned against you in thought, word, and deed; not only in outward transgressions, but also in
secret thoughts and desires that we are not able to understand, but which are all known to you. For
this reason, we flee for refuge to your infinite mercy, seeking and imploring your grace, through
our Lord Jesus Christ. <Remain kneeling>
By virtue of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, you are fully and freely forgiven of all
your sins. Believe this and know that you are at peace with God!
Thanks be to God!

V. The LORD Sends Us Back Into the World
Post-Communion Prayer
Let us continue to join our voices together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, you have graciously accepted us as living members of your Son Jesus Christ, and
you have fed us with his body and blood. Send us now into the world in peace, and grant us
strength and courage to love and serve you * with gladness and singleness of heart, until the
whole earth is full of your glory. Amen.
Great Commission Matthew 28.18-20
Jesus declares, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and disciple all the nations
by baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, by teaching them to observe all
that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Amen!
Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered!
Let those who hate Him flee before Him! Psalm 68.1

1 Peter 2.1-10
1 So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. 2 Like newborn infants, long for
the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is
good.
4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you
yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For it stands in Scripture:
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
7 So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,
“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”
8 and
“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may
proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a
people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
John 14.1-14
1 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If
it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to
where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the
way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have
seen him.”
8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with
you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,
‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say
to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I
am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than
these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
