Project Manager on private banker desk-top system for major money center bank.
Managed 18-month project to determine requirements and design a banking workstat
ion for use by managers, bankers and support staff for multiple divisions of the
private bank of large money center bank. Project Budget: $4,000,000 Size: 60 Ba
nk and IT professionals. Result: Bank gained competitive advantage in the market
place from improved sales and customer satisfaction.
Managed project to develop and install a branch-wide banker and teller automatio
n system for a large regional bank. Sold and managed the design and development
and assisted in its system-wide rollout. Project Budget $8,000,000 Size: 50 bank
and IT professionals. Result: 2 to 3 day reduction in turnaround time for open
ing new deposit accounts and loan originations at the branch level.
Managed project to design FX trading interface between the branches of a large m
oney center bank and its global cash management business. Managed the design of
an automated to order BAs, LCs, money transfers and travelers checks. Project B
udget: $6,000,000. Size: 20 bank and IT professionals. Result: Bank gained comp
etitive advantage by cutting the time to order international instruments in thei
r branches by 30 minutes while reducing costly order handling errors.
Managed selection of all banking computer systems for de novae bank startup by
major investment management firm. Managed project, prepared RFP, met with bank
ing software providers, led analysis and selection process. Project Budget: $4,
000,000. Size: 20 firm and IT professionals. Result: Investment company signed
contract to install the chosen solution.
Managed project to select, systematize and rollout, office automation systems th
roughout large regional bank. Created project plan, selected team and managed p
roject that determined requirements for and design of a manager workstation and
