SUMMARY
Nineteen years of experience spanning all elements of social media engagement, t
raining requirements, STEM initiatives, web/database development, and software d
evelopment (including design, testing, maintenance, upgrading, implementation, a
nd documentation).
I develop web and database tools and leverage social media applications against
a variety of customer issues. Most recently, this has involved building STEM pip
elines for young engineers. My STEM development involves supporting community ou
treach programs (e.g.: FIRST-For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Tech
nology), developing and executing intern programs, interfacing with selected col
leges, and identifying college hires. It also includes initiating knowledge tran
sfer programs to share domain knowledge between retiring engineers and college h
ires. Additional technical skills in web, database, and software development all
ow for the creation of tools to support these efforts. Experience in managing ot
hers, using existing and new media tools to share information, and being willing
to athink outside the boxa to solve pop-up issues has made me successful in thi
s field.
