General Information:
Would you like to work with exciting projects in a global organization? Open Control Systems’
products are leading within process control suitable for oil platforms, paper mills, steelworks
and pharmaceutical industries around the world. As Development Engineer for 800xA’s
controllers, you will work with advanced programming focused on functionality, performance
and quality. The projects run between one to two years and our group is responsible for
development, maintenance and support of software for the controllers. Together with other
Development Engineers, you will handle pre-studies, specifications, reviews,
implementations and module testings. You will also provide services such as troubleshooting
and bugfixing in order to maintain previous versions. As part of Open Control Systems, you
can expect great development opportunities within several functions and regions.

The requirements:
You hold a Master of Engineering with specialization in Software Development. You must be
proficient in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike. It is qualifying if you have worked
with real-time programming and development of software for built-in systems. Further,
experience in compilation and communication technology as well as knowledge in VxWorks,
Visual Studio and C/C++ will be counted to your advantage. To be successful in this position
you must be creative, productive and structured. You must also be a good team player with
focus on quality.

You will be part of ABB Open Control Systems in Malmö, a unit within Process Automation.
We deliver integrated solutions for control, plant optimization and industry-specific application
knowledge and services. All to help process industry customers worldwide meet their critical
business needs. The industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals,
pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging. We have rendered the
