1996 99 Shift Manager My duties and responsibilities grew beyond my individu
al position and became a leader of our team. As a shift manager, I began to man
age up to 50-100 employees while keeping the companys direct goals in mind. I b
ecame proficient in all areas of service, production, and crew development. As
a member of the management team, I became responsible for daily/ monthly invento
ry, purchases, payroll, training, customer and crew safety, employee reviews, an
d maintaining employee files so they would meet the necessary state and federal

store equipment; including proper operation, repair, planned maintenance, and e
nergy conservation. Working with the owner and store manager, I projected P&L an
d looked for ways to increase sales and increase profitability. I worked with al
l managers to set training standards, establish store goals using crew meetings,
individual reviews, and areas of opportunity. I personally focused on employe
e and management retention by implementing enthusiastic meetings and utilizing c
rew incentive programs. As acting First Assistant, I would fulfill the store ma
