Employment:
November 2008 - Present Clinical Director Dx2Go Medical Diagnostic Centers
September 2007 - Present @ Home Sleep Services, LLC
In 2007 I started my own business as a sole proprietor; offering consulting, ana
lyst, and education services. @ Home Sleep Services, LLC was developed into an
S-Corporation. I successfully mentored a physician through the education proces
s and enabled his facility to become nationally accredited as well as prepared t
he physician for his specialty board exam. Development of policy and procedures
, implementation of an educational format, acquisition analyzing, report generat
ion, and continued quality assurance through management successfully reduced thi
s practice's overhead 180K annually. This savings was achieved through analyzin
g the practice financial process and instructing ways to adapt national standard
s and regulations to better utilize the physician's scope.
In 2008 another entrepreneurial venture was executed after a 4 year planning pro
cess. Dx2Go Medical Diagnostic Centers was created with its first location. Ke
ntucky's first portable sleep diagnostic program was implemented. I developed a
trade secret potential process and composed the policy and procedures to put th
is plan to action. Reputation was grown throughout the community and the Bardst
own location experienced a 121.57% growth 2009-2010. Dedication to superior qua
lity care, patient comfort, community awareness, support, and physician educatio
n can be tied to this success. The fall of 2008 marked the first expansion of t
his business which included a Medical Annex attached to the diagnostic center.
The Medical Annex made way for our sleep specialty clinic. Presently this compan
y has expanded to 2 more locations, Carroll County Memorial Hospital sleep progr
am management and Shepherdsville, KY. With each expansion I have been actively
involved in the design, development, and construction of the facilities. New re
lationships have been developed through fostering clinical expertise and resourc
es for all sleep-related disorders. Fee for service agreements with sister ind
ustry companies serve as residual revenue streams for the business. Exceptional
ly detailed reports were invented to interface into the diagnostic equipment and
create company standards of detail to care. Through my involvement with Kentuc
ky Sleep Society Dx2Go became 1 of 3 statewide educational sites for rotation wi
th Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
May 2005 - September 2007 Lead Technologist, Sleep Medicine Specialists
Within my 2 years employed with Sleep Medicine Specialist I became nationally re
gistered. Through dedication to my career and displaying leadership qualities I
quickly climbed the company ladder landing the Lead Technologist position for a
reputable sleep medical program. While in this position I aided in the develop
ment of a new satellite office. I managed nightly operations and provided quali
ty assurance for the clinical procedures conducted. Involved with the stringent
details of pharmaceutical research testing and data collection. Directed any
emergency or liability situation in accordance to policy and procedure standards
assured all documentation and forms were completed. Educated and maintained a
highly regarded team to care for the sleep and research diagnostic and treatment
process.
February 2004 - May 2005 Sleep Technician, Jewish Hospital
Within a month of employment I began conducting nocturnal polysomnographs in an
unsupervised environment alone nightly. This facility was hospital owned but no
t located on the hospital campus. While employed I became focused on individual
growth and reputation. Each night, the studies I conducted were analyzed, prel
iminary reports generated, and the results were delivered to the hospital the fo
llowing morning after >12hr shifts. I was dedicated to performing these studies
by national guidelines as well as offering personal expertise and individualize
d care for each patient throughout the diagnostic and treatment process. I lear
ned self reliance for emergency situations and adapted skills to handle worse-ca
se scenarios.
January 2003 - February 2004 Nursing Assistant, Jewish Hospital
While in college I worked to gain medical experience. This position was utilize
d as a springboard for future careers. During my employment I volunteered night
ly for shift pull to increase my knowledge of different specialty unit operation
throughout hospital. I learned time management and communication and handled a
large patient/workload nightly, usually >20 patients.
