Site leadership at Deer Park was consolidated in 2008, although accounting and r
eporting have remained separate in two SAP Systems: Magellan and CHEM GSAP for t
he Refinery and Chemicals businesses respectively. There is a significant busine
ss case to aligning the ERP systems with the business changes, eliminating dupli
cate processes, reporting and analysis.
SAP PS Implementation Lead - Redesign and deploy the PS Module to support the ne
w Business Model, which consists of consolidating the Magellan Refinery and the
CHEM GSAP Chemicals business processes. Then the main SAP Project objective is t
o enable Deer Park to fully adopt current processes in the Magellan System for t
he Chemicals business processes and to align them with the current site manageme
nt structure.
