am Susan Lee and this coming school year will be my first year in high school and I will be a freshman. I am very blessed to be attending an international school in Seoul where I have integrated with truly amazing people and culture. I wish to lessen the losses that occur all around the world by finding cures with people from all kinds of backgrounds. Throughout my career plan the steps that I will take to reach this goal will be evident. College This is a huge milestone in my life that I have to excel in. My dream is to go to an Ivy League university that offers a very good medical program that fits my style. This is, however, very hard to get into and I need to work hard by giving everything I have. I want to learn a lot about what being a medical scientist is about and be able to interact with the people with the same goals. When I am admitted into the university I wish to major in genetics and minor in English. As a medical scientist I want to find cures for people and I think majoring in a subject that will explore hereditary is important. I want to minor in English so that I will be able to make decent proposals and presentations. First Job I want to intern in the Health department of the UN or a famous medicine company such as Vaseline. Interning in the health department of the United Nations will help me grow comfortable in adjusting to different work environments and it'll lead me to be more efficient as part of a team. Vaseline will also be an ideal place to intern since famous medicine companies like that research new medicines, which will help me, get comfortable with that. I want my first job to be where I will work for the rest of my career a scientific research and development companies. I want to maybe start out as a secretary for one of the experienced and older medical scientists Development in Jobs & Positions For me I think it is important to stay in one company and climb up the positions to get my ideal job as medical scientist which is to have my own team. as one of the junior members and be a secretary. I want to show my interest and passion for my research and be promoted for that. By doing this I can build up my own skills and learn from the older and more experienced people. Capstone of Career By this point of my life I would have hopefully reached my goal and dream to become a leader of a research team. It would be a huge honor but also a gigantic responsibility to conduct the research properly. I want to have invented and discovered some more new cures to lessen the deaths by illness. Hopefully by this I can decrease the sadness that people feel. When I begin to plan my retirement I want to have a protegee that I can pass down my unfinished 'legacy' such as my research to.
