A RAINBOW FOR EVERY CLOUD SERMON Responsive Reading

Leader: For every Cloud of Guilt; there is a Rainbow of Forgiveness Congregation: Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you (Col. 3:13 NIV). Leader: For every Cloud of Fear; there is a Rainbow of Peace Congregation: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Is. 26:3 KJV) Leader: For every Cloud of Weakness; there is a Rainbow of Strength Congregation: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Is. 40:31 KJV) Leader: For every Cloud of Worry; there is a Rainbow of Rest Congregation: Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (I Pet. 5:7& Phil 4:6-7 NIV) Leader: For every Cloud of Impatience; there is a Rainbow of Patience

Congregation: But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart, and wait for the LORD. (Romans 8:25 & Psalm 27:14 NIV)

Leader: For every Cloud of Sickness; there is a Rainbow of Healing Congregation: The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Matt. 8:8 & Heb. 13:8 KJV) Leader: For every Cloud of Grumbling; there is a Rainbow of Praise Congregation: Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. (Psalm 147:1 & Acts 16:25 NIV) Leader: For every Cloud of Doubt; there is a Rainbow of Faith Congregation: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Hebrews 11:6 & Romans 10:17 NIV) Leader: For every Cloud of Grudge; there is a Rainbow of Forgiveness Congregation: Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. (Eph. 4:31-32 KJV) Leader: For every Cloud of Blame; there is a Rainbow of Responsibility Congregation: For every man shall bear his own burden (Gal. 6:5) Leader: For every Cloud of Selfishness; there is a Rainbow of Serving Congregation: Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lords people who are in need. Practice hospitality (Rom. 12:10-13) Leader: For every Cloud of Pain; there is a Rainbow of Healing Congregation: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. But I will restore you to health heal your wounds, declares the LORD (Isa. 53:5 & Jer. 30:17a). Unison: May God send us His rainbows into our life to dispel all the dark clouds!
