Classification and Uses

Son tubos con costura conformados en fro soldados mediante el proceso ERW (Soldadura por Resistencia Elctrica) a partir de flejes de acero laminados en caliente, laminados en fro o galvanizados.

The structural tube is the result of cold forming hot- and cold-rolled coil strips, or galvanized coil strips into tubes welded with the ERW (Electric-Resistance-Welded) process. These tubes are used for general construction purposes as well as for jobsite smith work and light and heavy metallic structures. They are used in the automotive industry, specifically in exhausts, shock absorbers and seats, among other uses. Furthermore, they can be used for public lighting

Adems, se aplican para el armado de columnas para alumbrado pblico, cartelera y sealizacin de carreteras. Tambin forman parte de los productos de la industria del mueble y camping como de las maquinarias agrcolas. Tubos Argentinos dispone de una amplia gama dimensional ( 5/8 a 5) y una variada disponibilidad de espesores (0,80 mm a 6,35 mm) en terminaciones redondo, cuadrado y rectangular. Se comercializan en largos de 6, 9 y 12 metros segn el producto considerado, pudiendo requerir largos especiales de acuerdo a posibilidades tcnicas de fabricacin.
