Project: NCELL 3G Client: Ncell Designation: Drive Test Engineer Technology: WCDMA Duration: March 2011 Till Date Location: Gurgaon (HR) Previous Project: NSN-IDEA-2G Client: NSN Designation: Drivetest Engineer Technology: GSM Duration: JAN 2011 to March 2011 Location: Patna (Bihar) Major Responsibilities: Knowledge of parameters including pilot pollution, RSCP, Poor EcIo, BLER, MTx (UE transmit power), SIR etc. Verify the sector/Site functionalities like Coverage-cell radius, Data Speed, Modulation Scheme, inter & intra handover, I-Rat handovers, cell selection, Re-selection, RRC states (Cell DCH, Cell FACH, Cell RACH, Idle states). Proposing of capacity and coverage Sites to Overcome Coverage Patches & filling Capacity areas. Auditing of New Sites and Verifying Hardware, Tilt, Antenna height and Orientation, according to the Planning Database. Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites. Verify the site creation data and plan SCFTs accordingly. Analysis of Call drop, Handover failures, Access Failures. Planning Site audits drive tests and cluster drives. Major Responsibilities:

To conduct site audits, physical optimization of New Sites and Drive Test. Knowledge of parameters including Rx power, Tx power, EcIo FER, etc. Drive test log analysis and Report preparation by ACTIX . Recommendations for Antenna Tilt, Antenna height and Orientation. To conduct Site audits drive tests and cluster drives. To analyze KPI reports for Call drop rate (CDR), HOSR, HO drop and provide the solution.

Tools Used: MapInfo 8.5, and Google Earth.
