Long Island City, NYJune 17LaGuardia Community College is hosting on June 21 a charity art exhibition at the Kravets/Wehby Gallery that will donate all the proceeds to Japans tsunami and earthquake relief efforts. The one-day charity art exhibition featuring artwork donated by Nina Chanel Abney, David Bernstein, Bruce Brooks, Chris Cristofaro, Dennis DAmelio, Helmut Eppich, Alan Fleming, Elizabeth Greisman, You Kitamura, Yukiko Kobayashi, Yui Kugimiya, Yuliya Lanina, Rosemary Mayer, Tetsuharu Ohno, Marissa Perel, Ari Richter, Michael Rodriguez, Nozomi Rose, Arthur Simms, Scott Sternbach, Aya Uekawa, Masumi Yamaguchi and more will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Kravets/Wehby Gallery, located at 521 West 21st Street. Reception starts from 5 p.m. All pieces are priced at less than $200. The event will accept cash or check.
