[The Throne of Allah]

________________________________________________________________________
Mr. Know-it-all says where is Allah? He is on the throne of control as in 57: 4; Allah is closer to man than his life vein as in 50: 16. Allah is on Water 11: 7, in heavens as he decides all affairs from heavens as in 32:5. Is the throne of Allah at your jugular vein? Allah is "everywhere" in the sense that there is no place that is without his presence. What about the throne? In a summary, our Mr. Know-it-all is saying the following [this Mr. Know-it-all is a different one than the previous Mr. Know-it-all]: 1) 57: 4 and 50: 16 are mutually contradictory. One says that Allah is closer to humans than their life veins and the other says that He is firmly established on His throne; 2) The meaning of the throne generally taken by the translators, including myself, cannot be taken in verse 11: 7; and 3) If Allah is closer to His creation than their life veins then why do the angels have to travel to Him in periods extending over one thousand to fifty thousand years. This has really done his best to say there is a contradiction, error or addition in Quran. But the core problem is common in almost all the Pauline attackers these days, they do not understand Arabic and neither do they want to read Arabic, some of them, our Mr. Know-itall in this case does not wants to read the English translations he mentions himself, nor he wants to understand the translations and the commentaries to help his corrupted mindset. I usually tell them, dont try to translate Quran yourself, since you do not know the Arabic language, and the Arabic traditions. Look at his point 2, I have highlighted that, including myself, folks dont understand that Arabic is not the language as English, it is different than English it is Arabic! Let us take the quotes of Quran mentioned by our Mr. Know-it-all one by one to explain him the truth, the way the God-protected-word-of-God, the Quran, is to be read and understood. Al Quran Surah Al-Hud, 011.007: He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His dominion was over the waters1502 - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" Sadakhallah Al Azeem.

Can Gods dominion be not over the waters he created ? Assuredly yes, Gods dominion is upon all that exists in the heavens and the universe, truly O Allah, Sadakhallah Al Azeem. To explain the topic to the people, Shk Yousuf Ali gives a brief concept in his commentary on the verses 011:007, about foot note explanation 1502, on Page 515 of his commentary, dated 1934, Appendix for xxi30. Shk Yousuf Ali clarifies as follows [I have only typed it out for Mr. Know-it-all to read and understand]:

[The Throne of Allah]

________________________________________________________________________ 1502: It is scientifically correct to say that all life was created out of water, this statement also occurs in Quran in xxi: 30. The throne of Gods authority is metamorphically expressed as over the waters. i.e., as regulating all life. Some much mystical meaning here I think also attaches to Gen i.2. The past tense was refers to the time before life development in solid forms, on land and in air.
Let us now see what xxi: 30 have to offer us in the context of creation from waters. 021.030: Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

{30}
Let us read the translators note 2691 reads as:

2691: About 72%, of the surface of our globe is still covered with water, and it has been estimated that if the inequalities on the surface were all leveled, the whole surface would be under water, as the mean elevation of land sphere level would be 7000-10000 feet below the surface of the ocean. This shows the predominance of water on our globe. That all life began in the water. Is also a conclusion to which our latest knowledge in biological science points. Apart from the fact that protoplasm, the original basis of living matter, is liquid or semi liquid and in a state of constant flux and instability, there is the fact that land animals, like the higher vertebrates, including man, show, in their embryological history, organs like those of fishes, indicating the watery origin of their original habitat. The constitution of protoplasm is about 80 to 85 percent of water.
Now let us look at the next verses, our Mr. Know-it-all says, contradicts each others: 057.004 YUSUFALI: He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of Authority). He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. 050.017-18: Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). Finally, Mr. Know-it-all says that if God is closer to His creation than their life veins then why the angels have to travel to Him in periods extending over one thousand to fifty thousand years. My point of view regarding the above should be quite clear from the explanation given above. But to clarify even further, I would like to reiterate that "closer than life vein" refers to the omniscience of God. Whereas the other verses (mentioning that the angels spend thousands of years to reach Allah) refer to His magnificence and grandeur (70:4) and to the fact that God's operational time scale is far wider and far greater for us-humans-to fully comprehend and understand due to our inherent limitations (32:5).

Obviously, God being omniscient does not automatically imply that God has lost His grandeur. The two verses are referring to two separate phenomena. Just as if I say at one place that "I am aware of every move that you make" and at another place that "you cannot reach me easily", the two sayings cannot be termed as mutually contradictory. One refers to the perfection of my knowledge and the other to the other person's imperfections and my grandeur and magnificence. In the same way, at one place the Qur'an says that "God knows everything that man does and thinks, He is closer to man than his life vein" and at another it says that "How can you assess the grandeur of God, He is far above what you can imagine. Even the closest of His angels take thousands of years to reach Him". The two statements refer to two separate phenomena and thus are not comparable. Therefore, there is no question of contradiction in the two statements. Let us look at a verse from the Bible: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. (1:1-2) Does that means, God hovered like a helicopter, over the waters? No..! it really means that God has the dominion even over the waters! Tell me God does not have the dominion over the waterscan you? O my Learned Christian readers and Mr. Know-it-all, do you really want to turn your face away from the truth? Would you take man-made lies instead of truth of Islam in your lives? do you have any sense of reason? Do they have any thinking-heads? Does God stop you from thinking reasonably? Or would you like to regret in the hereafter. They will say, "If only we had really listened and used our intellect, we would not have been Companions of the Blaze." (Noble Quran, Surat al-Mulk: 10) or would the followers of St. Paul like to regret! O Mr. Know-it-all ! Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah [,] which cannot be turned back. On that Day you will have no hiding-place and no means of denial. (Noble Quran, Surat ash-Shura: 47) I invite you, O my Christian readers, to use your intellect and be a true believer, a truthful submitter to your God Allah [ .] May Allah [ ] bestow upon you his mercy and help you understand the fallacies of the Christian Pauline religion of Saul of Tarus...Ameen, ya Rabbiziljalaal. Allah [ ] makes it very evident for you "W e shall show them Our signs on the horizons and within themselves until it will become clear to them that it is the Truth. Does it not suffice that your Lord is Witness over all things?" The noble Qur'an, Fussilat (41):53. "Verily! this Qur'an guides to that which is most upright, and gives glad tidings to the believers who work deeds of righteousness that theirs will be a great reward" The noble Qur'an, Al-Isra (17):9 Sadakhallah alazeem.
