INTRODUCTION:Service and software solutions to support planning, allocation, replenishment and space management for retailers to optimize inventory investment. This system will work in a distributed environment. All data can be accessed from authorized location. Always remember why we decided to purchase the Inventory Management System in the first place as you sift through the various options you have uncovered. This new system will become a fundamental part of their business. The proper selection and application of this system can lay the foundation for the continued and profitable success far into the future for the organization

SCOPE:Now we offer them a new system that solve their problem and increase their bussiness it will also help them for follwing purposes.

OBJECTIVE:INVENTORY MANAGEMENT must tie together the following objectives, to ensure that there is continuity between functions: Company s Strategic Goals Sales Forecasting Sales & Operations Planning Production & Materials Requirement Planning.

To keep investment in inventory at optimum level.

PROPOSED SYSTEM COMPONENTS:Following are components of proposed system.

System should accessible on the web so that it can be accessed from any where in the world.

Business intelligence:-

Central database must be there for accessing available data.

CSS :Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used to describe the presentation semantics (the look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. JAVASCRIPT:JavaScript is an easy-to-use programming language that can be embedded in the header of your web pages. It can enhance the dynamics and interactive features of your page by allowing you to perform calculations, check forms, write interactive games, add special effects, customize graphics selections, and create security passwords and more. AJAX:With AJAX, the client and server can communicate freely with one another. Crystal reporting:Crystal Reports is used to design a report that enables users to drill down on a chart and filter information, in accordance with their needs. That report has been included in an ASP.NET project, and then displayed in a Web Form with a Crystal Report Viewer control that is bound to that report. The report can be interacted with by use of the Report Document object model.
