Sleep is a necessary part of everyone's life. Our life is divided into two such parts - day and night.
During the day we act, study, play sports, relax, communicate with friends, and receive a huge amount
of new information. And at night, in order for our brain to withstand this pace of work, a person has a
strange and interesting ability - to sleep.
Medics believe that an adult needs 7-8 hours to sleep in order to rest and stay awake during the
day at work. Some, however, manage to sleep as little as 4-5 hours and still feel awake and cheerful all
day. For others, even ten hours aren't enough to get enough sleep; it's different for everyone.
But why does a person need sleep? Isn't it a shame to waste more than a third of your life on it?
The answer is easy if you understand what the lack of sleep entails. Imagine that you did not get enough
sleep yesterday, today you fell asleep before dawn. The next day you may still feel normal, but if your
'lack of sleep' becomes regular, you will be constantly nervous, irritable, and by evening you will literally
collapse from fatigue, which will have a negative impact on you and the people around you.
All this tells us that sleep is necessary, and healthy sleep is even more necessary. The better you
sleep and the more often you sleep, the more you will do and achieve in your life, it's worth
remembering. After all, health is one of the few resources that you can't buy.
