PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES AND TRANSPORT TERMINALS Provision: LTFRB Memo Circular 2009-36 Coverage: All public utility vehicles and public transportation terminals Other Requirements: No Smoking" signs should be prominently placed in terminals and public vehicles. Because they know it kills, they should just stop altogether so they don't harm others. It is hard for a smoker to prevent exposure of others as the laws do not cover for all places and no amount of exposure is safe. need to implement the...show more

Congress should pass the Sin Tax Bill (proposal to increase tobacco and alcohol taxes). In this way, smokers might reduce their consumption or eventually stop the habit. sana bawal na magbenta ng per stick or at least 10 pesos per stick. mga elementary/high school students marunong nang magyosi. tsaka mahihirapan to mapatupad kasi yung leader natin ang promotor nang pagyoyosi.

Very good...but are our authorities implementing the provisions of the law really can implement it 100%...that i doubt very much. This will just come down as one of the ningas cogon of our govt.

naasar din ako sa mga driver na nagyoyosi sa jeep... it doesn't say in the provision on what to do with the smoking jeepney driver + kasabwat pa ang pulis na nakikisakay sa harap. can the passengers ask the driver to get off his vehicle? :}

usually when I ride a PUV, I always see the "NO SMOKING" sign but sad to say, there were drivers that do not follow this, NANGUNGUNA PA SILA!!!!! and may mga makakapal ang mukha na passenger na sumasakay pa habang nag yoyosi sila.....hopefully, pag may mga hinuhuli na silang mga...show more

Sana iprioritize muna ang mga smoke belchers. And for the record, the people who usually smoke in public non-smoking areas rarely look like that. Way to go.

Hard to say what they look like, as the prevalence is so high. Why do we have to choose? Implement the laws, whether smoke belching or smoking.
