Reason for coming

COME OUT!

2 COR. 6: 12- 18, GENESIS 12: 1 (GOOD NEWS VERSION)

Three questions will be asked in this word:

1. Are you a genuine Christian? 2. Are you still a genuine Christian?

Right from its inception, the Christian calling has been a call unto separation (coming out). This simply means separating yourself from the world.

Some people have the wrong concept of Christianity. You ask them, are you a Christian? They smile and say, of course yes, I am not a Muslim; I go to church every day, that makes me a

Christian; I believe in God therefore, I am a Christian; see I don t do bad things- I don t fornicate, I don t steal, I obey the whole ten commandment; for sure I am a Christian. I was born into a Christian home and have been there all my life so am a Christian. For God sake Christianity is not a religion where everyone is accustomed to some specific belief or idea neither is it a moral conduct where one feels his doing right alone will take him to heaven. Christianity is coming out from this worthless world. This is genuine. Are you a genuine Christian?

Gen. 12: 1. God saw that Abraham, although a man of his, was not yet separated. He found out his relationship with him was not yet genuine. That s why he ordered him to come out!

Psalm 14: 2, 3 (kjv). Everyone is filthy in the eyes. Moral belief is not Christianity. Even at times when we feel right, we actually are wrong in the sight of God. This brings the striking difference between actors and pretenders concerning Christianity. Actors here are worse than the pretenders in the house of God. Pretenders make people believe they are Christians knowing very well they are not. But the actors, they fool and prepare themselves as Christians and also make others think they are Christians not knowing they are not Christian at all. Most Christian are actors in the house of God.

Some other set of Christians tend to legalize sin. This is the act you, yourself making decisions on which not to call sin and which to call sin. This gets them into firstly, evil imaginations- imagining themselves sleeping with the opposite sex (LUST) and having that mentality that it is not sin since it is not done physically. MASTURBATION- forcing themselves believe that since it is not written in the bible, it is not sin. Remember it is in the bible that whoever looks upon a woman and lust after her has already committed sin with her (Matthew 5: 28 (kjv)). This can also be in the case of opposite sex. What about

the DRESS CODES most of them do not care about what they put on with the reason that Jesus never spoke of it in the New Testament. Matthew 5: 28 .committed adultery with her already in his heart.

for the fact that the opposite sex craves after you because of your dressing you are so hot- you have committed the sin of adultery already. Yet still, RELATIONSHIPS, what kind of relationship do you keep now. Are they the kind you will want to avoid when your parents or pastors are around? Or are they the ones you already know what the end will look like and try each day to cut it off but find out you can t. Who got you into it in the first place? Don t blame the devil, it is you. It is high time we come out!

Many agree with God on his promises and blessings and not on his doctrines and holiness without which no man shall see God. This makes them continue in their sins expecting the grace of God to abide each day.

2 cor.6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers . Fine you can talk to them, greet them direct them, this does not mean you they should be your all and all ..for what fellowship hath

righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? So why dress the way they dress, so why use the ungodly words they use, why listen to what make up, why make them your role models? Are you still a Christian? GIFTS-------CASTING CROWNS.

Come out!- every time you sin you run back to God to confess your sins Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid . If God should forbid you,

then you are doomed on earth even before you get to your destination which is HELL.

3. If the trumpet should sound now is there that surety that you will escape HELL?
